Can I bring kids?
Wood-Fest welcomes all people of all walks of life, ages etc. We have a dedicated kid zone but still ask that you keep an eye on your kids…it’s not a daycare!
Will there be food?
We have an awesome food selection for this year. This will cater to all food groups. If you have any allergies, we recommend bringing your own food or making our caterers aware.
Is there a place to charge my phone during the event?
Nope, you’ll have to talk to people.
Do you accept cash or are you card only?
The bars will accept card only. Caterers will be accepting cash and card. We will also be accepting cash donations on the day.
Do I need my ID?
If you are fortunate enough to look under 25, you will be ID’d by our friendly bar staff. All persons under 17 must be accompanied by someone over 21.
Will there be wifi?
Unfortunately, we will not be supplying wifi for all to jump onto. You can get pretty good 5G there though.
Can I take pictures?
We encourage pictures and videos to be taken. Please tag our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages when you share these. Please be respectful about posting images of other people online. Please do not post pictures if there is someone under 18 in the picture and you do not have their parent’s consent.
Do you do Saturday tickets?
We do indeed. Check them out at www.wood-fest.com
Do you do Friday tickets?
Unfortunately not, you’ll have to stay for the entire weekend!
Will there be showers?
Nope, it’s only two days, you’ll be fine!
Is there running water?
We have running water which is drinking water. Alternatively, bottled water can be purchased at the bar.
Do you have paramedics on site?
Although we are raising money for Hampshire and Isle Of Wight Air Ambulance, we don’t want to require their assistance for the weekend. Please keep safe but we do have licensed paramedics on site for all your needs.
Vehicles
Am I limited to the amount of vehicles I bring?
We accept cars, caravans, motorhomes and whatever tickles ya fancy. We charge a car parking pass so please make sure this is purchased before arrival. We recommend car pooling to do your bit for the environment.
Can I move my vehicle during the event?
You can drive from the car park area to leave the event, but no vehicles can be moved during the event. This is a safety hazard.
Can I park my car near my tent?
Sorry, no.
Can I sleep in my car?
We have all spent rough nights in the car but ask that people bring other sleeping arrangements for the weekend ie. Tent, camper-van etc. Or, if ya get lucky, bunk up with another fellow Wood-Fest goer.
Arrival / Departure and leaving the festival
What time can I arrive on Friday?
Gates will open at 9AM on Friday with the first of the live music beginning at around midday.
Can I leave and re-enter the festival?
You sure can! No re-entry after 8pm though. This is due to us not wanting to piss off the neighbours and jeopardise future Wood-Fest years!
What time can I leave on Sunday?
You can leave as early as you like as long as you have stopped drinking at an appropriate time before you start your engine. Alternatively, feel free to hang around and help us dismantle the festival. We can pay you with great humour and a beer when we have all recovered.
What can / can’t I bring into the festival?
Can I bring my dog?
Wood-Fest LOVES animals especially doggos. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to welcome your furry friends. As much as dogs would love the size of the open field, it is not safe for them. Further, our insurance does not cover us for animals on site. Please leave your furry friends with loved ones for the weekend.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Absolutely. We do not limit the amount of alcohol you bring in but we ask that you are respectful. We have a very reasonably priced bar, so grab yourself a cold beverage from our friendly bar staff. No glass on site. If this is found, it will be removed.
Can I bring drugs?
No. Anyone found to have drugs on site will be removed from the festival. Wood-Fest has a zero drugs policy.
Can I bring a drone?
Sorry, no. We have dedicated photographers and will post pictures of all your sexy mugs shortly after the event.
Can I smoke?
Yep. There will be sand buckets to discard your cigarette ends. Please refrain from dropping these on the floor because we then have to pick them all up on Sunday with a stinkin’ hangover!
Can I bring a campfire?
Sorry, no. If the weather is anything like it has been for the past few years, we will be blessed with glorious sunshine so this will be too much of a fire hazard. Also, our insurance does not cover this.
Will I get searched on the way in?
Our friendly security staff will have a peek for glass, drugs and weapons etc. Please leave all of these at home.
Can I bring fireworks?
Please don’t.
Can I bring a BBQ?
Nope, similar to not allowing open fires.
Can I bring my own speakers?
Please don’t. Your ears will be blessed with our incredible line up. No one wants to hear your crap playing all night from a rubbish speaker.
Accessibility
Do you have disability access?
We have tried our very best to make the entire festival accessible. We will have an accessible toilet and ask that this is left for those who need it most. This includes a baby changing. The drive up the track to the festival is a bit bumpy, so make sure you have your breaks on those chairs!
Will there be toilets?
Nah, you can all piss in a bush. Jokes, there will be toilets. We have ordered more than last year as these filled up pretty quickly!
Volunteering at Wood-Fest / Donations / Ticket refunds
Can I help at Wood-Fest?
Hell yeah! We are always looking for help whether it be litter picking, bar work etc. Contact us on our social medias or at beers@wood-fest.com to find out more.
I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund on my ticket?
Sorry to hear this! Please contact beers@wood-fest.com and we can discuss this. Please refrain from selling onto anyone else.
